Almath Crucibles offre una varietà di tubi di allumina. I nostri tubi di altissima purezza sono realizzati in allumina ricristallizzata 99,7% e hanno una temperatura operativa massima di 1800°C, che li rende ideali per le applicazioni ad alta temperatura.

La nostra allumina ad alta purezza (Al₂O₃₎ sono costruiti appositamente per funzionare in un'ampia gamma di applicazioni ad alta temperatura. Nella produzione dei nostri tubi si utilizza l'allumina ricristallizzata, un materiale che offre una notevole resistenza agli shock termici, grazie alla maggiore dimensione dei grani (fino a 200 mm).

I nostri tubi mostrano una notevole resistenza agli attacchi chimici grazie all'assenza di fasi vetrose che tendono a determinare la resistenza alla corrosione.

Le proprietà elettriche e dielettriche del materiale migliorano generalmente con l'aumentare della purezza. La resistenza elettrica è maggiore e il fattore di perdita dielettrica è minore nei materiali con il più alto contenuto di allumina.

L'allumina di elevata purezza produce una ceramica densa ed essenzialmente monofasica al momento della sinterizzazione. La crescita dei grani durante la sinterizzazione può essere controllata con piccole aggiunte di MgO fino a 0,05%. Il nostro prodotto contiene solitamente una piccola quantità di porosità chiusa, che può essere mantenuta al di sotto di 0,5% utilizzando le moderne tecniche di cottura.
