REACH Declaration

Almath Crucibles is committed to ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of our products. This declaration confirms our adherence to the UK REACH Regulation (UK SI 2019/758) following the United Kingdom's departure from the European Union, which mirrors the EU REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

This declaration applies to all products supplied by Almath Crucibles within the United Kingdom. It addresses the obligations of manufacturers, importers, and downstream users regarding the safe use of chemicals.

Almath Crucibles ensures that all substances that we manufacture or import into the UK in quantities of one tonne or more per year are registered with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the UK agency responsible for UK REACH. We only use substances from suppliers who have fulfilled their registration obligations under UK REACH.

Almath Crucibles complies with the UK REACH Authorization process. We do not use any substances that are on the UK Authorization List (Annex XIV of UK REACH).

We comply with all restrictions on substances listed in Annex XVII of UK REACH. Our products do not contain restricted substances above the permitted levels, ensuring they are safe for use and compliant with UK REACH regulations.

Almath Crucibles continuously monitors the UK Candidate List of SVHCs. Currently none of our products contain any SVHCs above the threshold limit. If our products were to contain any SVHCs above the threshold of 0.1% weight by weight (w/w), we would provide customers with the necessary information to ensure safe use, including the substance name and potential risks.

We actively communicate REACH requirements within our supply chain to ensure that all parties are aware of their responsibilities. This includes obtaining confirmation from our suppliers that they comply with UK REACH regulations.

We are committed to providing our customers with products that meet all regulatory requirements. Upon request, we can provide information regarding the REACH compliance of our products, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and declarations of SVHC content.

Almath Crucibles operates a continual improvement program and is dedicated to continuous improvement in our compliance processes. We regularly review and update our practices to align with any changes in UK REACH regulations.
