Almath Crucibles offer a variety of quartz products, including Quartz tubes and crucibles.

QC25 Opaque quartz glass crucible. Preferred glass for the electrical insulation industry. Very high thermal shock resistance. We offer our fused quartz crucibles in a single internal and external diameter.

Softening Point: 1683°c
Annealing Point: 1215°c
Strain Point: 1120°c

We currently offer just one type of quartz crucible from stock. If you require a different size crucible then we can accommodate for one-off or custom designed orders. Please get in touch to discuss any custom crucible requirements you may have for your opaque quart crucibles.

Disclaimer – Our Opaque quartz crucibles are much stronger than the other quartz products in our range. In the specific case of Quartz Tubes, please note 1 meter of quartz tubing is very fragile – whilst we take every precaution possible we cannot be held responsible for breakages. To eliminate breakages we are happy to cut tubes down into shorter lengths on request or if you are near to Cambridge we are happy for you to collect in person.
