Technical Ceramics

Technical Ceramics: Overview

Technical ceramics, often referred to as advanced or high-performance ceramics, are engineered materials specifically optimised for demanding applications across various industries. At Almath, we primarily utilise aluminium oxide (Al2O3), also known as alumina, as the foundational material for our ceramic components. Alumina exhibits exceptional durability and hardness, characterized by its outstanding resistance to wear, erosion, corrosion, and high temperatures. In addition to alumina, we also offer machined zirconia, magnesium oxide (MgO), and can accommodate customer-supplied materials upon request.
These materials are meticulously engineered for environments that demand extreme durability, making them crucial in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, and biomedical applications. At Almath, we pride ourselves on adhering to the principles of ISO 9001:2015, ensuring our production processes consistently meet high-quality standards while fostering continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
