Almath wins Queen’s Award for Enterprise
Almath Crucibles Ltd is one of only 205 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise. Announced on Thursday 29th April 2021, Almath Crucibles Ltd has been recognised for its excellence in international trade.
Employing 6 people, Almath Crucibles Ltd was set up in 1996 by Alan Misson and manufactures specialist high temperature ceramics for research and industry.
The Business started in a Garden shed in Dullingham before moving to the Running Horse Industrial Estate in Burrough Green in 2004, where it is still based.

Now in its 55th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the country, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards emblem for the next five years.
